Theatre

The Dramatic Arts Program at Whitesburg Christian Academy builds a window into the world of performance.  Students are invited to explore the art of stage acting and technique.  This begins with simple improvisation activities to build collaboration and quick-thinking skills.  Throughout the year, students will explore costume and set design, character motivation, and sustaining a character through classroom performance.  Students will refine their interests and discover what they love to contribute to the show as a whole.  In the spring, students perform a one-act piece as the catalyst of the course.  Students graduate Theatre with a new-found confidence and appreciation for performing arts.
