The Upper School Praise & Worship team leads all 7th-12th grade students in worship and prayer on Chapel Days. This team meets every week during late start Wednesdays to rehearse, and any student with a heart for worship is welcome to join. Chapel is a highlight of the week, and having live worship makes the time special and sweet while giving students time to connect with God.
“I love serving in the Praise Band every week! It is such a blessing to be able to lead my fellow believers in worship at chapel. Chapel is a way to have church-like worship in the middle of the week instead of just on Sunday mornings.The best parts in praise band are when we are playing a song in chapel and I stick out my arms, close my eyes, and listen to all the voices worshipping the Lord together. I can’t help but smile when I can feel the presence of the Lord among his people. The praise team is such a blessing for me every single week.”
