Graduates on a Mission
Academy Graduates are sharing the hope of Christ around the world.
Haley Kretz (2021) spent 9 months after high school doing a gap year called the World Race and spent time in Guatemala, South Africa, and Ecuador. I hope to move overseas after graduation from Mississippi College.
Hannah Blankenship (2018) accepted a job with Reformed University Fellowship where she will ministering to international students at Texas A&M University.
Macy Cox (2023) traveled to Budapest, Hungary this past summer to work a camp with kids. She taught them English, sports, and most importantly the gospel.
Ben Cox (2021) went to New Orleans on a mission trip and was an intern with Whitesburg Baptist Church last summer. He mentored younger boys and developed relationships to help them in their walk with the Lord.

I attended New Student Indoctrination (NSI) for NROTC on July 20, graduated August 7, and officially became a Midshipman (MIDN) in the U.S. Nave. My officer training has begun at Auburn with the end goal of commissioning as a Student Naval Aviator into the Navy. One of my duties as a MIDN includes flag detail for home football games, and I held the Alabama flag during the Mississippi State game. I've plugged into Auburn Community Church and also joined a local Bible study group for outdoorsmen called Revelation Outdoors, where we have weekly Bible studies and a weekend trip every semester. I'm hoping to step into smaller leadership roles in Naval ROTC and Revelation Outdoors over the next couple semesters, and will continue studying mechanical engineering at Auburn.
Celebrations
Andrew Smith (2016) and Sarah Harmon (2019) got married July 14, 2023.
John Sanders (2012) is getting married in December 2024.
Savanna Harris Naugher (2019) got married in June of 2022 and welcomed her baby daughter in September of 2023.
Bo Barker (2018) got engaged to Erin Butler last summer. They will be married in July of 2024.
Amber Richardson (2016) married Neil Shimer on March 19, 2022.
