Lori Clark is the upper school nurse and teaches health science at the Academy. She grew up in a military family but spent her last two years of high school at Grissom High School in Huntsville, Alabama. She attended Auburn University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked for six years in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Huntsville Hospital and spent an additional 2 years doing research at Huntsville Neonatology. She has been a substitute teacher and nurse at the Academy since January of 2018. She and her husband, Jamie, have four children. They are Jacob, Will, Drew, and Sara Grace. She enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and any activity with her family. Her family attends Rivertree Church. She and her husband also serve on the leadership board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes organization. Her favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 12:1.
