My children are challenged academically, but more importantly, they see Jesus every day in their administrators, teachers, and peers.  My greatest joy about teaching at the Academy is the freedom to speak boldly the name of Jesus.  I have the privilege of praying with my students, loving on them, and hopefully showing them Jesus each week.  We are very thankful that the Lord brought us to Whitesburg Christian Academy.

We are so grateful knowing our children are not only being taught by dedicated, gifted teachers, but are also being prayed for individually and guided to grow in their relationship with the Lord. The peace of knowing they are safe, loved, and surrounded by God’s presence at school is truly an extraordinary blessing in today’s world.

Upper school has provided our three boys ways to grow deeper in their faith- to truly know what they believe and why and be able to thoughtfully discuss it. We have also long prayed for a group of friends for them at school and the Lord provided, not just bringing friends to them, but other like-minded parents for us to be in community with as well.

Knowing that the values we teach at home are being reinforced at school has given us such peace. It’s a blessing to have our children surrounded by a community that encourages them in their faith every day. The teachers pour into their students—not viewing them as test scores, but truly caring about them as people. This school isn’t just preparing students academically—it is nurturing them emotionally and spiritually, and equipping them for whatever the future holds.

We love knowing we have a partner in raising our daughter to hide God’s Word in her heart and to follow Jesus. There is nothing more rewarding to parents than listening to their child fall asleep singing her weekly Bible verse. May asks to get to school earlier and get picked up later, and her favorite outfit is her Academy uniform, even on Saturday!

For our family, the Academy brings clarity in a world of confusion, calm in a world of chaos, and peace in a world of distress. It is a place where our kids can be authentic, where they can pray, worship, and openly praise God, while being surrounded by a community that encourages them in their faith each day. Each morning, when our children leave home, we rest in the assurance that they are spending their days with Christian men and women who are faithfully pouring the love of Christ into them, instead of being shaped by the ever-changing and often confusing messages of the world.
